Meet the Speaker, Jonathan Turpin

Principal, AIM Group

As Principal, Jonathan is responsible for day-to-day operations of the AIM Group and leads the consulting practice. He has served as CEO, COO and commercial director of a wide range of online media and software companies. For six years, he was CEO of Fish4, a British classified service owned by the UK’s largest newspaper companies. He led the business from startup. He has also launched a hybrid radio and online recruitment service; run a home-moving business focused on lead generation and sale of home-moving trigger data; and as a consultant relaunched a significant multi-vertical online recruitment business. He began his career at strategy consultants Arthur D. Little and is an experienced media and marketplaces industries consultant. He has held significant roles at the BBC, Bauer Media, MoveMe.com and AOL-Europe. Jonathan is based in London.

Meet the Speaker, Julius Probst

European Labour Economist, Appcast

Julius is the European labor economist at Appcast. Before that, he was working as economist and application specialist at Macrobond Financial. He did his M. Sc. in Economics with a specialization in macroeconomics and his PhD in Economic History at Lund University in Sweden. During the PhD, he also worked as a researcher for the European Central Bank for half a year.Chris has worked in the recruiting industry for over 20 years, developing smart recruiting tools that have helped hire millions of people around the globe. He is a recognized expert in recruiting and talent management in the USA and has been quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Staffing Industry Review.
